⚔️ The Definitive Guide to Damage Colors ⚔️
Mastering Combat Mechanics, Modifiers, & Procs

Overview: Understanding the numbers on your screen is crucial for optimizing your build. While base damage is straightforward, special modifiers like Critical, Excellent, and Ignore procs dictate true PvP and PvM dominance. Below is the complete breakdown of combat text colors.

Primary Combat Values

■ Orange | Regular Damage
Your standard physical or magical output. This scales directly with your primary stats (STR/ENE/AGI) and weapon power.

■ Blue | Critical Damage
High-impact hits that maximize your weapon's damage range. You can achieve this via:
  • Equipment: Items with the "Luck" option (+5% Crit Rate per item).
  • Buffs: The Dark Lord's Critical Damage party buff.
  • Master Skill Tree (S6): Points invested in the Critical Damage Rate nodes.

■ Green | Excellent Damage
Strikes that deal 110% of your maximum base damage. Triggered by:
  • Excellent Gear: Weapons or Pendants with the "Excellent Damage 10%" option.
  • Master Skill Tree (S6): Points invested in the Excellent Damage Rate nodes.

■ Cyan | Ignore Defense Damage
The deadliest damage type. It completely bypasses the enemy's armor value.
  • Wings: Procs from the 5% Ignore Defense option on 2nd and 3rd Class Wings.
  • Ancient Sets: High-tier sets grant this as a full-set bonus.

■ Yellow | Additional / Double Damage
Represents bonus damage mechanics introduced in later seasons.
  • Harmony Options: Additional flat damage or SD Bypass procs from Jewel of Harmony.
  • Double Damage: 100% damage duplication (often from Ancient Sets). Note: Depending on your client's UI configuration, this may also appear as two simultaneous Orange or Green numbers.

Reactive & Tactical Values

■ Purple | Reflect Damage
Damage returned directly to the attacker. Sourced from:
  • Gear: Excellent items with "Reflect Damage 5%".
  • Class Skills: The Summoner's Damage Reflection buff.

■ Olive | SD (Shield) Damage
Exclusive to PvP. Indicates damage absorbed by the opponent's Shield Gauge (SD) before their HP is affected.

■ Light Green | DoT (Poison / Decay)
Damage Over Time. Inflicted by monster attacks, weapons with Poison attributes, or the Grand Master's Decay skill.

■ Red | Received Damage
The standard damage your character takes from any source. Mitigated by your Defense, Damage Decrease options, and Absorb buffs.
