INTRODUCTION​

Dear Insanians,

Hereby I would like to introduce a PvP setup guide for beginners.
Since InsaniaMU is an S6 server you have many setup options for PvP, which can be overwelming for a new player.
In this guide I will show you some basic and useful information that can help you be better in PvP.
Please note that, this guide is made for beginners, so I won't cover every macro setup for min-maxing.
Also, this guide focuses on the preparation for pvp, since you can find the complete combo guide here.

STATS​

Before we can talk about the itemization our character must be ready for PvP by reaching max stats in everything:

1. Basic stats:
   • To start PvP with anyone you must be 100rr, therefore you can add the max ~83k stat points.
     
     TIP: Main stat (should be maxed): DK: STR; DW: ENE; Elf: STR; Sum: ENE; MG: ENE or STR; DL: STR; RF: STR/VIT
2. HP boost:
   • Up to 5 GR you get 10k base HP/GR – so if you reach 5 GR you start with 50k HP.
   • For pvp, this is essential; otherwise, you will have a big disadvantage against other players.
3. Master level:
   
   • Maximum master level is 400. You must hit that to be able to add the maximum 400 points.
     
4. Achievements:
   
   • Max achi is also essential for pvp, because it provides many mandatory stat boosts.
     
     NOTE: Currently the HP achievement can be maxed manually by Venci.

ITEMIZATION​

Set items:

1. Overall best opts:

• Exc options: increase maximum life +4%; damage decrease +4%; reflect damage +5%
• Yellow option: damage decrement inrease +9% (socket items cannot have yellow opt)
• Socket options: increase maximum life +8%; damage decrease +8%; reflect damage +9%

TIP: The best opts can be different for each class, depends on their skills. (E.g.: SM barrier or SUM ref buff)
NOTE: Damage reduction rate is capped at 55%!

2. Recommended sets:

• For better dmg: T2 Uber set is the recommended choice.
  
• For better survability: Socket set is the recommended choice.

NOTE: When adjusting the PVP balance, we use the T2 Uber set as a base.
Weapons:

1. Overall best opts:

• Exc options: exc dmg rate +10%; increase dmg/lvl +20; increase dmg +2%
• Yellow option: SD bypass rate +19 (socket items cannot have yellow opt)
• Socket options: exc dmg rate; crit dmg rate; 3rd socket option is personal preference

2. Recommended weapons:

• Socket weapons are the best options here.

Miscellaneous items:

1. Wings:

• LvL3 wings are the best for pvp.
• Best options: Ignore defense; return enemy's attack power, recovery of life (additional option is personal reference)

2. Rings:

• Lethal wizard ring (LWR) and wizard ring (WR) are the best options here.
  
• Best options: the 2 types of wizard rings have fixed options, other rings have same as set parts.
  

NOTE: 2 LWR and 2 WR cannot be equipped at the same time!
3. Pendants:

• Pendants are completly personal preference, but I suggest to use the one with the better bonus stat. (E.g.: Pendant of Fire gives +5 STR while Pendant of Lightning gives +10 ENE)
• For exc options same as weapons.

4. Pets:

• For dmg: Demon is the best choice. Imp is a weaker but cheaper option.
  
• For defense: Angel is the best options here (Horse for DL).
  

BOOSTERS​

To make yourself even stronger you can use temporary boosters.
There are 3 types of boosters you can use: Scrolls, Elixirs and Auras.

1. Scrolls

• Scroll of Health - Increases your HP by 3000
• Scroll of Defense - Increases your defense by 500
• Scroll of Quickness - Increases your attack speed
• Scroll of Wrath - Increases your attack power
• Scroll of Wizardy - Increases your wizardy dmg
• Scroll of Mana - Increases your mana by 3000
• Scroll of Battle - Increases your crit dmg by 20%
• Scroll of Strength - Increases you exc dmg by 20%
  

2. Elixirs

• Elixir of Strength - Increases your STR by 1000
• Elixir of Agility - Increases your AGI by 1000
• Elixir of Health - Increases your VIT by 1000
• Elixir of Control - Increases your CMD by 1000
• Elixir of Energy - Increases your ENE by 1000

NOTE: 2 elixirs cannot be used at the same time!

3. Auras

• Max AG Boost Aura - Increases your AG by 10 points/lvl
• Max SD Boost Aura - Increases your SD by 10 points/lvl
